Student Ministry

In the Fueled youth ministry, we strive to see a transformation in our community by equipping our youth to spread the good news of Christ. We try to fuel up our youth by doing monthly events that will both engage them and challenge them. We have a bible study that currently meets on the second and fourth Sunday during the 9:45 service in the fellowship hall.

We strive to get our students plugged in to serving as well, be that on the worship team or in a classroom with kids on Sunday morning. Fueled Youth is open to anyone in 6th grade through high school. Our hope is that once a student graduates, they will have a firm foundation of faith to ground them in the adult world.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with our monthly events. We need people who would love to build strong relationships with the youth that will surpass just the youth group. If this interests you, please contact Nicole Hendrix, she would love to chat with you.

Thank you to everyone who has loved and supported our youth. They had such an amazing time at camp this year. We look forward to attending again next year.

Check out what we are learning about

This August, we’re taking a closer look at a truth every student needs to hear: “I Am Designed for a Purpose.” Purpose is a word that can hold a lot of weight for today’s students. They are constantly trying to figure out who they are and what sets them apart from the rest. And at the end of the day, students might know that God made them or know that He loves them, but what are they supposed to do with that?

With the help of our theme, Forward, your students will hear that a life with Jesus doesn’t just sit still. Each week will build on the idea that following Jesus moves us forward—helping us grow in confidence, character, and purpose. Jesus came to show us the way to real life, and as students learn to trust Him, they’ll discover that His words are reliable, His example is worth following, and His love gives us lasting direction.

We hope that students will begin to see themselves through His eyes, embrace their identity as God’s children, and take bold steps forward into the life He created them to live. We’re praying that through these sessions, students will grow in confidence—not in themselves, but in the God who designed them on purpose and for a purpose.

  • Aug. 9th – What if I’m not actually the main character in my own story?
    • Looking at Matthew 6:1-4 Jesus teaches us that the greatest impact often comes from quiet acts of love and humility—when no one’s watching.
  • Aug 23rd – Should I decide who deserves my love?
    • In Matthew 5:43-48 and Romans 5:8-10, we see that God loved us even when we were His enemies. That’s not easy to grasp—but it’s exactly the kind of love our students need to experience and extend. This love isn’t a reward for good behavior; it’s a reflection of God’s heart.

We might be taking it a little slower this summer, but that doesn’t mean the fun is going to stop!!
