In DRF Kids we minister to children from Birth through 6th grade. We strive to show the love of God by serving both children and their families. We pray to see a transformation in our community, by equipping them to share the love of Christ. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings during the 10:15 service.  During this time the children will take part in a time of worship and a bible study. They will learn about who God is, what Jesus did for us, how the Holy Spirit is with us, and how it all applies to our lives. 

We currently have five classrooms: Baby room (Cub’s Corner), toddler – preschool (Bear Boulevard), Kindergarten and 1st Grade (Lion Lane), 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade (Alligator Alley), and 4th – 6th Grade (Panther Place). 

We are always looking for more volunteers to help co-teach lessons, rock the little ones, greet families as they come and go, and just love on kids. Children’s Ministry can be intimidating at times, but it is so rewarding! If you think you might be interested in volunteering or just wanna check it out, please contact Nicole Hendrix. This event is open to the church as a whole, and to all of your friends as well! This is a perfect opportunity to invite someone to a nonthreatening church event!
Cost of the tickets are $14 a person, but please do not let cost deter you from coming. We can and will make it work.

We have currently 60 tickets reserved, and can get more if need be.
We need to have a somewhat firm head count by June 8th.

Join us for some fun in the sun!
We will be having a family swim on August 12th.
We will be having a potluck dinner at 6pm, and then open swim from 7-9pm.

This event is completely free, but we do ask that if you are able to please bring a side dish to share. We will provide grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, as well as drinks.
