Children’s Ministry

In DRF Kids we minister to children from birth through 6th grade. We strive to show the love of God by serving both children and their families. We pray to see a transformation in our community by equipping them to share the love of Christ. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings during the 9:45 service. During this time the children will take part in a time of worship and a Bible study. They’ll learn about God, Jesus’ sacrifice, the Holy Spirit’s presence, and how it all relates to us. 

We currently have five classrooms:

  • Baby room (Cub’s Corner)
  • Toddler – Preschool (Bear Boulevard)
  • 5 years old – 1st Grade (Lion Lane)
  • 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade (Alligator Alley)
  • 4th – 6th Grade (Panther Place) [See our Tween Ministry Page for more information.] 

We are always looking for more volunteers to help co-teach lessons, rock the little ones, greet families as they come and go, and just love on kids. Children’s Ministry can be intimidating at times, but it is so rewarding! If you think you might be interested in volunteering or just want to check it out, please contact Nicole Hendrix.
